Once your file is in the correct format , click on Project > Mixdown > stereo mixdown . A new window will pop up – make sure that “Create an MP3 version” is checked , then click OK . Name your file and choose a location for it , then click Save . Your file will now be exported as an MP3 file .

Go back into Audacity one last time , click File> Open , navigate to where you saved your MP3 file , select it , and hit play . If everything sounds good , congratulations ! You’ve just learned how to burn music onto a CD using Audacity !
