One of the simplest ways to share music on iOS 15 is to use a USB cable. This method is ideal if you only want to share a few songs or if you’re using an older device that doesn’t support iOS 15’s new AirDrop feature. To share music using a USB cable, simply connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer and open iTunes. Then, select the songs you want to share and click the “Share” button. When prompted, choose “Send To > Device” and select your friend’s iPhone or iPad from the list. Your friend will then be able to access the shared songs in their Music app.
iOS 15 includes a new feature that allows you to share music with friends and family using an SD card. Here’s how it works.
First, make sure that your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 15. To do this, go to Settings > General > About and check the Software Version field. If it says 15.0 or higher, you’re good to go.
Next, insert an SD card into your device. If you’re using an iPhone, you’ll need an adapter to do this – we recommend the Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader, which you can get from the Apple Store or Amazon.
Once your SD card is inserted, open the Music app and find the song or album that you want to share. Tap the share button (the one with the arrow), then select Share via SD Card.
Enter the name of the recipient and tap Send. The song or album will be copied to their SD card, where they can access it in their own Music app.
